Agree, I’m referring to “writing” that is as contemptuous as it is careless, that spits at beauty, grace, and subtlety

Back in the late 90s, I used to work at a media research company, and the word “synergy” was constantly bandied around to describe the media, mergers and acquisitions of the day. “Vertical integration” was another gem, and of course “Cash is King” stood as a requisite buzzword in every article we wrote. We didn’t have “vibes” back then, but at least “groovy” had passed into blissful history!
